Give your computer a static ip address of 192.168.1.2 and a subnet of 255.255.255.0
Enter 192.168.1.1 in your browser.
Un: admin PW: admin
On the left side click Internet Settings
Click Lan - Enter in the IP address you want to assign to the AP. ie 192.168.1.250 etc ( Make sure you didnt set your computer to the IP you are assigning )
IMPORTANT: Click DHCP Type and select Disable.
Click Apply.
The Unit will reboot and then ask you to log back in again this time using the new ip address.
Click Wireless Settings Then Basic
This is where you will assign the SSID etc. The only thing we recommend you set up on this page is the SSID. Leave everything else alone. Click Apply
The AP may request a reboot if it gives you the option skip it for now and continue on
Click Security ( under Wireless Settings )
Select the Security Mode you want. We recommend WPA2-PSK
Enter in the Pre-Share key which is the password and click Apply.
Once you reboot the unit you are ready to go.
